Fruit and vegetable farm offering a customizable CSA and farm pickup, growing 106 varieties year-round.
Ledge Top Farm, also known as The Ledge, has been growing vegetables and small fruits in Wilton, New Hampshire since 1978. The farm offers a wide range of produce including tomatoes, kale, blueberries, raspberries, melons, sweet potatoes, and more, across 106 varieties. Customers can order directly from the farm by email or text and pick up at the farm, with a discount applied to farm pickups. The Ledge also runs a flexible, customizable CSA program it calls the "You Decide" CSA, where members prepay for the season and then select exactly which produce they want, how much, and when to pick it up. Internship and farm work opportunities are available for those looking to gain hands-on growing experience. Learn more on their About Page.
Ledge Top Farm grows fruits and vegetables using natural methods, without synthetic pesticides or chemical fertilizers. The farm follows all National Organic Program (NOP) practices, feeding the soil with natural minerals and amendments such as compost, alfalfa meal, rock phosphate, feather meal, and kelp meal. Reduced-till and no-till techniques are used to preserve soil structure, and beneficial insects are introduced to manage pests. When a treatment is necessary, the farm selects only products approved by the Organic Materials Review Institute (OMRI). The farm does not source produce from outside growers. The property is fully powered by 16 kW of on-site solar energy.
