Education-based farm-to-school nonprofit growing sustainably raised produce for Fort Bragg youth since 2006.
Noyo Food Forest, home to the Learning Garden, is a small production farm on the Fort Bragg High School campus, founded in 2006. It grows fresh produce for the Fort Bragg Unified School District's Farm to School program, with harvests walking directly from the farm to the school cafeteria less than a block away. The organization also runs a paid internship program giving students hands-on experience in sustainable farming, nutrition, biodiversity, and climate-resilient agriculture. It hosts workshops and events throughout the year, and is supported through plant and produce sales, donations, and grants. Learn more on their About Page.
