North Plain Farm & Blue Hill Farm

North Plain Farm raises 100% grass-fed and finished beef using intensive rotational grazing across its owned land and neighboring pastures, a practice the farm describes as regenerative for the soil. Heritage breed pigs are born and bred on the farm, pasture raised, and fed certified organic grain. Eating chickens and laying hens are pasture raised and fed locally grown, non-GMO grain, supplemented by forage. The farm does not use synthetic chemical herbicides, pesticides, or fertilizers, and does not use antibiotics; any animal requiring antibiotic treatment is removed from the meat and dairy rotation until the medicine has fully cleared its system. All meat is processed at Eagle Bridge Custom Meat, a USDA-inspected facility in Eagle Bridge, New York. The farm also produces its own beef-tallow soap made with homegrown herbs.
