Nichols Farm and Orchard

Nichols Farm and Orchard is a family farm founded in 1978 by Lloyd and Doreen Nichols on a 10-acre parcel in Marengo, Illinois. What began as a backyard garden grew into an operation that now cultivates close to 1,000 different fruits and vegetables each year, including more than 200 varieties of apples. Lloyd's sons and grandchildren work and live on the farm, continuing the family's focus on diversity and variety. The farm sells its produce at 12 to 14 farmers markets across Chicago and its suburbs each year, supplies restaurants, and runs a CSA program with pickup sites and home delivery throughout Chicagoland.
