Pasture-raised chicken, eggs, pork, and turkey from a family farm in the Joel Salatin tradition.
Narrow Way Farms is a family-run farm in Ivanhoe, Texas, raising pasture-raised chicken, eggs, pork, and turkey. Founded by Jennifer and Richard Greer, the farm was shaped by Joel Salatin's pastured farming model, which the family encountered through farm tours and his books. The Greers set out to raise food for their family, friends, and customers using practices they believe benefit their animals and their land. Chicken, eggs, pork, and seasonal turkey are all available through the farm's online shop. Learn more on their About Page.
All animals at Narrow Way Farms are raised on pasture. Broiler chickens are raised on pesticide-free and herbicide-free pasture with access to sunshine, fresh air, and natural foraging. Their feed is supplemented with a NON-GMO grain mix that contains no medications, appetite stimulants, or hormones. Laying hens roam freely on pesticide-free pasture and receive the same NON-GMO grain supplement. Pigs are rotated through the farm's forested areas, where they have access to natural forage and freedom to root and wallow. Turkeys are raised free-range on pasture and fed a NON-GMO grain mix with no medications, appetite stimulants, or hormones. Turkey is a seasonal product, with pre-orders taken in advance of the Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday period.
