Woman-owned, chemical-free farm with a CSA, farm stand, cut flowers, and on-farm bakery in Rehoboth, MA
Moonrose Farm is a woman-owned, chemical-free farm and apiary founded by partners Melissa Denmark and Jordan Goldsmith. The two began growing vegetables and flowers in Dartmouth, MA in fall 2015, selling at the Padanaram Farmers Market before eventually settling on just over 7 acres along the Palmer River in Rehoboth. The farm grows vegetables, herbs, and cut flowers, and keeps a flock of pasture-raised chickens. Produce, eggs, and flowers reach customers through a CSA program, a farm stand on the property, and sales to local restaurants. An on-farm bakery rounds out the offerings with baked goods and custom orders. Cut flowers are also available for weddings, events, and retail bouquets. Learn more on their About Page.
Moonrose Farm describes its approach as chemical-free across its produce, eggs, and garden plants. Seeds are saved year after year as part of the farm's land stewardship, with an explicit goal of caring for the soil with future generations in mind. The farm also maintains an apiary. Its mission, as stated on its own pages, is to raise chemical-free food while stewarding the land it farms.
