Queer-owned, one-acre vegetable farm offering a CSA, flower bouquet shares, and herb shares.
Hocus Pocus Farm is a queer-owned and operated farm growing chemical-free vegetables, flowers, and herbs on one acre of land at Osamequin Farm in Seekonk, MA. The farm sells produce through a CSA model, wholesale through Farm Fresh's Market Mobile, and at Osamequin's farm stand. CSA members receive a weekly share of the harvest over an approximately 21-week season running from early June through October. Shares come in full (feeding 3-4 people) and half (feeding 1-2 people) sizes. Optional add-ons include a flower bouquet share and an herb share. Hocus Pocus Farm also works with organizations such as Food Not Bombs to provide fresh produce to more people.
Hocus Pocus Farm grows its vegetables, flowers, and herbs without chemical inputs on one acre. The farm uses low-till methods and is committed to maintaining soil health and biodiversity. CSA pricing operates on a sliding scale so members can choose what they pay based on their financial situation, with higher-income members encouraged to pay above cost to subsidize lower-income members. Workshare opportunities are also available. The farm makes donations to community organizations and fundraisers as part of its commitment to food system equity.
