Family-run farm stand and u-pick fields offering fresh vegetables, eggs, cut flowers, and sunflowers.
Michaud Family Farm is a family-operated farm on a 16-acre property in North Granby, Connecticut, purchased by the Michaud family in 2022. The farm sells fresh seasonal vegetables, eggs, cut flowers, and flower arrangements from an on-site farm stand that runs from April through October. U-pick sunflower fields are open seasonally, with several fields cycling into bloom across the summer. A separate property grows sunflowers and pumpkins as well. After Thanksgiving, the farm stand also offers wreaths and seasonal goods. The farm partners with the Suffield Agriscience Program, employing students to help with planting, harvesting, and grounds maintenance. Learn more on their About Page.
Michaud Family Farm grows its vegetables, eggs, and flowers on its own property and does not use pesticides. Produce, eggs, and flowers go from the field to the farm stand within hours of harvest. The farm stand operates on an honor-system model, with customers paying by cash or by credit card via QR code.
