USDA Certified Organic vegetable farm and CSA offering weekly shares, farm stand access, and pick-your-own crops.
Yellow Stonehouse Farm is a 79-acre USDA Certified Organic farm and CSA spanning Westfield and Southampton, Massachusetts. It operates Westfield's first certified organic CSA program, offering weekly and every-other-week full farm shares from early June through late October, plus a Winter share running from November into February. Members select from a market-style distribution of certified organic vegetables, flowers, and herbs. Shares include pick-your-own garden access, PYO flower bouquets, and use of picnic areas along the Manhan River. Surplus vegetables may be donated to local organizations. The farm is a member of NOFA/Mass (Northeast Organic Farming Association) and a CISA Local Hero.
Yellow Stonehouse Farm holds USDA Certified Organic certification and cultivates over 17 acres of vegetables and flowers using organic farming practices. The farm does not use chemical pesticides, herbicides, or fertilizers, and grows no GMO crops. Season-extending high tunnels are used alongside field cultivation. The 79-acre property includes a protected Natural Heritage and Endangered Species Landscape, a vernal pool area, a stand of 200-year-old Beech trees, and milkweed fields maintained to support visiting Monarch Butterflies. The farm also accepts SNAP/HIP EBT payments for CSA membership, with monthly automatic deductions and HIP reimbursement available based on family size.
