Maze Ranch Beef, LLC

Maze Ranch Beef, LLC is a multi-generational family cattle ranch located southwest of Medicine Lodge, KS in the Gyp Hills. Allan and Patty Maze represent the 5th, 6th, and 7th generation of ranchers in Barber County, operating on land Patty's family has farmed for decades. The ranch began selling beef directly to customers in 2007, earning its first license in 2020 to offer individual cuts alongside whole, half, and quarter beef shares. Steers are black and red Angus with some Hereford influence, grown on grass, finished on a corn ration for a minimum of 120 days, and dry-aged 21 days. Beef is processed at two Kansas USDA-inspected plants and is available by the whole, half, quarter, bundle, or cut.
