Borntrager Dairy raises Dutch Belted cattle, a breed known for its grazing ability and milk with 3.5 to 5.5 percent butterfat. The farm's stated goal is to mimic nature and practice diversity, following grass-fed, organic principles and using non-GMO crops. The herd is managed with rotational grazing in mind, a system the Dutch Belted breed is well suited for.
