Certified organic Kona coffee, macadamia nuts, macadamia nut oil, and Hawaiian farm foods from a family farm on the Big Island.
Mahina Mele Farm is a family-owned and operated farm on Hawaii's Big Island, established in 2005 by Kollette and Jason Stith. The farm grows and produces certified organic 100% Kona coffee, sold under the Kona Rose Coffee label, along with its signature Izzie Macs! organic dehydrated macadamia nuts. Additional products include cold-pressed organic macadamia nut oil, macadamia nut butter, dehydrated apple bananas, and raw Hawaiian honey. In 2021, the farm opened Mahina Mele Market, a production facility and retail location in Kealakekua where visitors can shop the full range of farm products. The market also carries Pure Mana Hawaiʻi Skincare, a line that uses the farm's organic macadamia nut oil as a key ingredient. Learn more on their About Page.
Mahina Mele Farm holds certified organic status and grows its coffee and macadamia trees using Hawaiian Natural Farming methods in the nutrient-rich volcanic soils of South Kona. The farm pioneered a low-temperature dehydration process for its macadamia nuts, which the farm states preserves the nuts' natural flavor and vitality. The farm describes itself as among the few Kona coffee farms growing certified organic coffee, and notes it was one of the first to offer a certified organic macadamia nut product on retail shelves.
