Pure, raw, unfiltered honey from the Diablo Valley, produced by a small-batch apiary.
Magic Garden Honey is a small-batch apiary run by Terry and Sue, producing pure, raw, and unfiltered honey from hives that forage across the Diablo Valley of northern California. The bees draw nectar and pollen from seasonal sources including lavender, perennial sunflower, wild rose, borage, blackberry, orange blossoms, and native wildflowers. Because the floral mix shifts with the seasons, the honey's taste and color vary from harvest to harvest. Honey is bottled in both glass jars and plastic containers and is available at a number of local retailers across the East Bay, as well as in bulk and case quantities by request. Beyond honey production, Terry breeds queens and provides bees for California's annual almond pollination, and both Terry and Sue are active in local and state beekeeping associations. Magic Garden Honey is produced raw and unfiltered, harvested in small batches. The bees forage throughout the Diablo Valley from spring through fall, visiting floral sources such as lavender, perennial sunflower, wild rose, borage, blackberry, fruit blossoms, and native wildflowers. The business describes its approach as responsible beekeeping with a focus on honey bee health and pollinator habitat restoration. Terry has decades of beekeeping experience and also breeds queens. Terry is a past president of the Delta Bee Club in Modesto and a former member of the Executive Board of the California State Beekeepers Association.
