CCOF-certified organic farm offering CSA subscriptions, vegetables, fruit, and flowers for pick-up
Let's Go Farm is a small certified-organic farm in Rincon Valley, Santa Rosa, founded in 2011 by farmer Joey Smith. Joey grew up on the land and learned to farm at Hidden Villa before returning to cultivate it. The farm grows a wide range of vegetables, herbs, fruit (including strawberries, melons, and figs), and cut flowers. Customers can purchase through a CSA subscription, a harvest-to-order farm shop, or by visiting for farm tours by appointment. Joey also serves as adjunct faculty at the Santa Rosa Junior College, teaching sustainable agriculture, ecology, and natural resource management.
Let's Go Farm holds CCOF Certified Organic status from its founding year and has also earned certification through the Real Organic Project. The farm uses no synthetic fertilizers or pesticides. Every winter it plants cover crops to build soil organic matter and sequester carbon. A hedgerow of diverse plants has been installed to attract and support beneficial insects, reptiles, and birds. The farm is also mindful of its use of water, fuel, and packaging. All of these practices are verified by third-party certifying agencies.
