Pasture-raised Berkshire pork, chicken, eggs, grass-fed beef, and house-made sausages from a family farm.
Kinnikinnick Farm was founded in 1994 by David and Susan Cleverdon, who planted a half-acre organic market garden on rolling farmland above the north branch of the Kinnikinnick Creek. Over the years the farm transitioned from a certified organic produce operation to a pasture-based livestock farm. It produces Berkshire pork, pastured chicken, free-range eggs, grass-fed and finished ground beef, and small-batch sausages. The farmstead pantry line includes heritage-grain bread, fresh-rolled granola, and raw unfiltered honey. Kinnikinnick Farm also runs a farm stay program that welcomes families who want to experience small farm life firsthand. Learn more on their About Page.
Kinnikinnick Farm follows the principles of regenerative agriculture and manages its pastures organically. All livestock are raised on pasture according to Animal Welfare Approved standards, and the laying flock of 275 heritage hens carries AWA certification. The farm uses only non-GMO corn in its livestock feed and administers no hormones or antibiotics. Bacon is dry-cured; sausages are made in small batches. Heritage grains are ground fresh on-farm to order, and granola oats are rolled fresh on-farm to order. Ground beef comes from whole steers that are grass-fed and finished.
