Kapua Gulch Farms is a 25-acre working farm serving the North Kohala community with fresh produce, eggs, raw honey, and other farm products. The farm raises chickens, goats, sheep, and cows, and also offers grass-fed beef and lamb. A seasonal fruit stand sells an assortment of fruits, vegetables, and herbs. Beyond food, Kapua Gulch Farms sells dried butterfly pea flowers and dried cloves through its online shop. The farm also welcomes overnight guests in a studio cottage situated on five acres of garden, orchard, and gulch, where guests may pick seasonal produce.
Kapua Gulch Farms raises its livestock humanely, without growth hormones or antibiotics. Fruits and vegetables are grown without artificial fertilizers or pesticides. The farm's honey is raw and unfiltered, and the hives are kept free from chemical treatment. The farm describes its approach as sustainable and natural farming.
