Overview
Family-owned Georgia farm selling Kiko goats, Nigerian Dwarf goats, pasture-raised chickens, eggs, hay, and AKC Great Pyrenees dogs.
Jumping Frog Farm is a family-owned farm in Cedartown, Georgia specializing in 100% New Zealand Kiko goats, purebred Nigerian Dwarf goats, Light Brahma and Buff Orpington chickens, pasture-raised eggs, hay, and AKC Great Pyrenees livestock guardian dogs. The farm uses performance-based farming methods with a focus on quality over quantity, documenting detailed information on each animal to help buyers find the right fit for their own programs. Its herds and flocks are closed, tested, and certified disease-free for Johne's, CAE, and CL. Jumping Frog Farm holds a USDA Raw Milk License and a USDA NPIP Certification, and participates in the Scrapie Eradication National Program.
Jumping Frog Farm holds Animal Welfare Approved (AWA) certification through A Greener World, along with AGW Non-GMO and AGW Grass-Fed certification. The farm is certified through Langston University's Meat Goat Quality Assurance Program and holds FAMACHA certification through the Southern Consortium for Small Ruminant Parasite Control. Animals are pasture-raised in open free-range environments and are never placed in cramped or overcrowded areas. The farm uses no pesticides, added hormones, steroids, or antibiotics, and feeds natural feed with no additional chemicals. Water sources include natural spring-fed streams, harvested rainwater, and a chlorine-free, BPA-free filtration process. The farm practices rotating land and herd management, inter-species biodiversity using symbiosis methods, and collaborates with the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) on conservation programs. Babies are born and raised by their mothers and are naturally weaned.
