Cosmos Farm is a 30-acre farm located just outside Carrollton, Georgia, cultivating more than six acres in a diverse mix of vegetables. It also grows cut flowers, herbs, and shiitake mushrooms, and raises bees for honey. The farm has been operating since 2011 and sells primarily at farmers markets in Atlanta, including the Grant Park market and the East Atlanta Village Farmers Market. It also supplies restaurants and wholesale buyers, and offers an online shop. Cosmos Farm runs a full-season apprenticeship program, immersing participants in all aspects of farm production from seed to sales.
Cosmos Farm uses sustainable practices to grow its vegetables, flowers, herbs, and mushrooms. Apprentices working a full season gain hands-on experience across field work, harvesting, and farmers market sales on a small-farm scale.
