Certified organic herbs, vegetables, tomatoes, and peppers grown on California's Central Coast and Baja Mexico.
Jacobs Farm del Cabo is a certified organic farm with roots stretching back to 1980, when co-founders Larry Jacobs and Sandra Belin began growing on eight coastal acres in Pescadero, California. The operation has since expanded to seven sites along California's Central Coast and grown into an industry leader in organic herbs. It produces over 30 varieties of organic herbs and vegetables distributed to consumers across the USA and Canada. Its product range includes culinary herbs, tomatoes, peppers, squash, and specialty vegetables, grown in both field and greenhouse settings. The farm also collaborates with a network of smallholder growers along the Baja California coast through its del Cabo partnership. Learn more on their About Page.
Jacobs Farm del Cabo identifies itself as one of the first certified organic farms and grows all its products using certified organic methods across nearly five thousand field-grown and greenhouse acres. It grows products without harmful chemicals and follows food safety best practices. The farm pairs modern organic farming methods with close attention to soil health, emphasizing soil preservation as central to its growing philosophy. Through its ClimateLab program, the business works to identify climate-related risks for smallholder farms and develop adaptation solutions. It has also introduced paper-based packaging as an alternative to single-use plastic clamshells.
