Heavenly Honey

Heavenly Honey Company is a second-generation honey business founded in 1979 by Bob Mearns, who started with a single beehive and grew to 1,500. The business moved to Ojai and shifted its focus to sourcing and bottling, procuring honey from a select group of family-operated beekeepers the owners know personally. The lineup spans more than a dozen single-varietal raw, unfiltered honeys, including alfalfa, orange blossom, buckwheat, sage, wildflower, and avocado blossom, alongside infused varieties and custom-blend organic loose-leaf teas. In 2016, Heavenly Honey opened a Honey Tasting Room in Downtown Ojai, where visitors can sample varieties and learn about the honey-making process. Learn more on their About Page.
