Pasture-raised eggs, raw A2/A2 milk, and grass-fed beef, lamb, and goat from a regenerative family farm.
Haystack Gardens is a family-operated regenerative farm in Glasford, Illinois, managed by Jeremy and Anna Estabrook alongside their children. The farm produces pastured eggs, certified raw A2/A2 milk, and grass-fed beef, lamb, and goat meat, all available for pickup at the farm. Raw milk is sold by subscription or on a waitlist basis, with extra available when supply allows. The farm is a certified raw dairy through the Illinois Department of Public Health. Retail cuts of beef, lamb, and goat are available for pickup on a limited basis. The farm takes its name from the Haystack Gardens garden center established by Jeremy's grandparents in Cannon Beach, Oregon in the late 1970s. Learn more on their About Page.
Haystack Gardens uses intensive rotational grazing, moving ruminants to fresh pasture regularly, with chickens following behind to forage. The farm commits to all-natural animal care and weed control, avoiding chemical applications on the land and choosing alternative solutions instead. Antibiotics are not used as a routine practice; the farm has used them only in a documented emergency case involving a cow's health. The farm does not worm its animals, in order to preserve beneficial nematodes and soil microorganisms. The broader goal is to build soil health through animal impact and to cultivate biodiversity among plants and animals.
