First-generation, veteran-owned regenerative farm raising grass-fed beef, pastured poultry, lamb, eggs, and raw dairy.
Happy Meadow Farm is a first-generation, veteran-owned regenerative farm located in Pisgah, Alabama. The farm raises 100% grass-fed beef, pastured chicken, lamb, and eggs, and operates a 100% grass-fed dairy. Raw milk is available through a herdshare program, requiring a one-time membership and a monthly maintenance fee, with pickup on the farm or at drop locations. The farm also offers fruit alongside its meat and egg products. Orders can be placed online through the farm's website.
Happy Meadow Farm follows a regenerative approach centered on mimicking natural grazing patterns. Animals are moved daily through small paddocks of roughly an acre or less, keeping them on fresh forage and clean ground. This rotation discourages parasite buildup, reduces soil compaction, and allows grazed areas to rest and regrow, promoting diversity in the pasture. The farm operates its beef and dairy on a 100% grass-fed basis and applies holistic management practices throughout. A silvopasture project is also underway on the property.
