Grove Ladder Farm

Grove Ladder Farm uses rotational grazing across all its livestock: animals are moved to a fresh paddock each day, allowing grazed areas to rest for several months before reuse. Sheep and cattle eat native Florida grasses. All grain fed to chickens and ducks is Non GMO Project Verified, contains expeller-pressed oils rather than hexane-solvent-extracted oils, and is sourced from farms in Georgia, Tennessee, and Alabama. Multiple species are kept together so each contributes different nutrients to the soil, avoiding a monoculture approach. Great Pyrenees livestock guardian dogs and moveable electric fencing are used to protect flocks. The farm vets every product listed in its store against its own standards of humane farming practice before offering it for sale, including items sourced from partner farms.
