U-pick certified organic blueberry farm and artist retreat in rural New Hampshire
Grounding Stone Farm is a USDA Certified Organic blueberry farm and artist retreat owned and operated by Kathleen Jacobs and David Miller, who purchased the property in 2016 to carry on its organic farming legacy. The original blueberry fields were planted in 1986, and the farm has been growing in acreage and variety ever since. Visitors can pick their own blueberries, order online for pick-up, or buy already-picked berries at the farm stand. The farm is open from early July through mid-to-late August each year. Alongside the blueberry operation, artist and educator Kathleen Dunn Jacobs offers weekend painting and drawing workshops on the farm's 14-acre property, as well as multi-day painting trips to destinations in Europe and New England. Learn more on their About Page.
Grounding Stone Farm began transitioning to organic production in 2000 and achieved USDA Certified Organic status in 2003, a certification it maintains through the NH Department of Agriculture, Markets and Food. The farm is also certified by the Maine Organic Farmers and Gardeners Association (MOFGA). All blueberries grown and sold at the farm are certified organic.
