Greentree Naturals is a certified organic farm in Sandpoint, Idaho, operated by Diane Green and Thom Sadoski. The farm has held organic certification since 1992 and sells produce, fresh-cut flowers, and free-range eggs. Greentree Naturals supplies the Sandpoint Farmers Market and local restaurants, and has also marketed through a growers collective it organized to help meet regional restaurant demand. Beyond growing food, the farm hosts on-farm events such as Sunday Brunch on the Farm, and runs workshops, seminars, apprenticeships, and mentoring programs for aspiring small-acreage farmers. Greentree Naturals has been USDA certified organic since 1992. Produce is grown without synthetic chemicals on a small-acreage farm. The farm has spent over two decades exploring season-extension techniques to lengthen the growing season and improve soil and air temperatures for earlier and longer harvests. Produce is harvested by hand. When additional supply is needed, the farm sources from other certified organic farms within Bonner County. Free-range eggs are available in limited quantities. The farm has conducted on-farm research as part of its agricultural practice and has participated in University of Idaho extension and sustainable agriculture programs.
