Family-run vegetable farm offering CSA shares, a farm stand, and eggs, honey, and bread.
Green Junction Farmstead is a family farm operated by Dawn and Brian, growing vegetables and fruits across a roughly 20-week season. The farm's CSA program is its primary market channel, offering full shares (weekly) and half shares (every other week), with produce spanning salad greens, tomatoes, peppers, squash, root vegetables, and more across early, mid, and late season. Beyond the CSA, the farm sells at its on-farm stand and at the Palisade Sunday Farmers Market, and supplies local restaurants. Additional products available for purchase include eggs, bread, quiche, honey, and CBD. The farm accepts SNAP/EBT and is a Colorado Proud member. Green Junction Farmstead also participates in a farm tour and internship program with Colorado Mesa University focused on small-scale regenerative vegetable production. Green Junction Farmstead grows under the guidelines of the National Organic Program, without the use of synthetic herbicides, insecticides, or fertilizers, describing this approach as a deliberate choice that fits its small-scale, direct-to-consumer model. Its bio-intensive growing methods include crop rotation, cover cropping, insect netting, row covers, irrigation, and integrated pest management. The farm describes soil health and the soil microbiome as the cornerstone of its operation, and states that its regenerative field practices sequester carbon from the atmosphere. The farm operates with full transparency and welcomes members and visitors to tour the property.
