Happy Hive Farmstead is a small family farm in Western Colorado focused on pasture-raised poultry grown through regenerative agriculture. The farm raises Cornish cross broilers on open pasture, rotating the birds through movable coops so fresh ground is always underfoot. Whole broilers, boneless breasts, drumsticks, thighs, wings, chicken backs, organ meats, whole turkey, and bundled packs are available for purchase. Happy Hive Farmstead raises its birds on pasture with no pesticides, herbicides, or fertilizers applied to its fields, and no vaccines administered to the flock. Birds are supplemented with locally milled, non-GMO feed along with probiotics and natural kelp for minerals. Chickens are moved daily to fresh grass using movable coops, following a rotational model the farm describes as a core part of its regenerative approach. The farm's aim is to build soil health through each flock rotation, increasing biodiversity and nutrients in the land over time.
