Fourth-generation family farm raising pasture-raised Red Angus beef, fruits, and vegetables in North Walton County.
Frost Lane Farms is a multi-generational family farm in North Walton County, Florida, rooted in land first purchased in 1932. The operation is currently run by Marcus and Sommer Adams, the third and fourth generations of the Adams family to work the property. The farm produces pasture-raised Red Angus beef, a wide variety of seasonal vegetables, and an orchard fruit lineup that includes Japanese Persimmons, Asian Pears, Muscadines, Blueberries, Figs, Kiwi, Satsumas, and Kumquats. Pantry items such as jams and jellies made from farm-harvested fruit are also available. Products can be purchased online, picked up at the farm, or found at area farmers markets most Saturdays. Learn more on their About Page.
Frost Lane Farms raises Red Angus cattle that are pasture-born, pasture-raised, and grain-finished with no synthetic hormones and no antibiotics. All beef processing is handled at a USDA-inspected, locally owned facility. Fruits are grown without synthetic pesticides, using what the farm describes as natural growing methods. Vegetables are grown using natural methods as well, with the farm stating its growing procedures are fully transparent. Barbara Adams, a longtime member of the farm team, grows vegetables without herbicides or pesticides. Pantry items such as jams, jellies, and dried mixes are cottage food products made exclusively from fruit, berries, and nuts harvested on the farm.
