Certified organic farm growing 30-40 varieties of fruits and vegetables on 45 acres in the Carpinteria Valley.
Frecker Farms is a certified organic farm operating on 45 acres in the Carpinteria Valley, nestled between the mountains and the Pacific Ocean. Founded in October 2013 by Alex Frecker, the farm started as a 3-acre row crop operation and has grown steadily in both size and crop diversity. Frecker Farms grows 30 to 40 different commodities year-round and operates 3 acres of greenhouse space to extend the production of crops such as basil, tomatoes, and cucumbers. Products are available at 14 farmers market locations across Santa Barbara, Ventura, and Los Angeles counties, at a weekly on-farm stand, and through select wholesale distributors and restaurants. Frecker Farms is certified organic and grows its full range of fruits and vegetables without synthetic chemical inputs, using practices that include natural compost, crop rotation, and methods that support soil health and biodiversity. The farm emphasizes crop diversification and direct marketing as core parts of its operation. Greenhouse space on the property allows the farm to extend growing seasons for specific crops. Frecker Farms supplies local distribution chains with organic produce, prioritizing regional food systems across the counties it serves.
