Fifth-generation family ranch offering grass-fed, grain-finished Angus beef shares, rabbit, and pasture-raised chicken.
FourBar Ranch is a fifth-generation, family-owned operation in Loranger, Louisiana, on land that has been in the Bankston and Wilkinson families since 1896. The ranch officially began selling beef in 2023, led by Ashley Wilkinson and Justin Traylor, who brings a background in dairy farming to the venture. The property spans 103 acres, with 40 acres of grazing pasture and 63 acres left in its natural state. FourBar Ranch sells Angus beef in whole, half, and quarter shares with customizable cut selections. Alongside beef, the ranch offers rabbit meat and partners with A&A Acres to provide pasture-raised chicken. Learn more on their About Page.
FourBar Ranch raises Angus cattle on a grass-fed, grain-finished program: cattle graze on pasture around the clock and are supplemented with grain to develop marbling and flavor, then dry-aged before processing. The ranch runs a rotational grazing system year-round to support soil fertility and animal welfare. Beef is raised under an all-natural program, meaning no additional growth hormones, antibiotics, or animal by-products are used. The ranch describes its broader goal as building a regenerative, self-sustaining farm that conserves the land for future generations.
