Fort McCoy Ranch

Fort McCoy Ranch raises cattle on open pastures year-round, where natural grasses form the foundation of the herd's diet. Its 100% grass-fed line is raised entirely on pasture with no grain finishing. Its grain-finished line is pasture-raised and finished on grain while remaining on pasture. Ranch hands use low-stress animal handling throughout the operation. The ranch preserves large portions of its land as forests and wetlands to support native wildlife and maintain ecosystem balance. Responsible grazing and pasture management are used to contribute to soil health and long-term biodiversity. All beef is processed in the ranch's own USDA-inspected facility.
