Red Acre Farm is a fourth-generation family farm run by Andrew and Kailah Smith, rooted in land that has been in the family since 1974. The farm launched its commercial operation in 2023 with a focus on pasture-raised, regeneratively farmed meats and eggs. Its product line includes pasture-raised chicken, heritage pork, eggs, and turkey. Poultry is raised and harvested on-site by the family. Red Acre Farm raises its poultry on pasture and feeds them an organic, non-GMO feed. The farm does not spray its pastures and does not use synthetic fertilizers. All poultry products are free from antibiotics, steroids, hormones, and pesticides, and are harvested on the farm. Heritage pork is raised on pasture and is also free from antibiotics, steroids, hormones, and pesticides; it is fed a specially blended feed sourced fresh each month directly from a local feed mill. The farm describes its approach as regenerative agriculture.
