Urban vegetable farm with a farm store, CSA subscriptions, and food access programs in Houston's East End.
Finca Tres Robles is an urban farm that began in 2014 on a longtime vacant property in Houston's historic East End neighborhood. It is operated by Small Places, a Houston-based 501(c)3 nonprofit. The farm grows seasonal vegetables and sells them through an on-site Farm Store, open twice a week, alongside produce, meat, dairy, and eggs sourced from local farm partners. CSA subscriptions are available in seasonal share sizes for individuals and families, with weekly pickup at the store. The farm also accepts SNAP and offers a tiered pricing model with discount options, no questions asked. A Food Prescription Program serves local residents with diet-related chronic illnesses, and a bi-weekly Neighborhood Food Access delivery reaches households across the East End. Finca Tres Robles describes its farmers as growing vegetables sustainably and in a seasonal structure. CSA boxes are packed directly from each week's harvest. The farm states that the food it produces is intended to stay in its neighborhood, and it pursues food distribution models designed to make produce accessible to all people. The farm store carries not only its own grown produce but also meat, dairy, and eggs from local farm partners.
