Gastropub-style bistro at Cavallo Point Lodge serving seasonal American food and craft cocktails with Golden Gate Bridge views.
Farley is a gastropub-style bistro located within Cavallo Point Lodge, a LEED Gold-certified lodge set inside the Golden Gate National Recreation Area at historic Fort Baker. Named in honor of Sausalito cartoonist Phil Frank, whose comic strip ran for over 30 years in the San Francisco Chronicle, the restaurant draws on the mid-20th-century character of its late-1890s building, decorated with framed Farley comic strips, photographs, and historical artifacts from the property. Guests can dine in the comfortable dining room, sit at the bar, or settle onto a terrace with sweeping views of San Francisco Bay, the city skyline, and the Golden Gate Bridge. Farley serves lunch and an afternoon-to-evening menu on weekdays, weekend brunch on Saturdays and Sundays, and a kids' menu throughout the day. The restaurant operates on a walk-in basis. Farley's drink program features seasonal cocktails made with fresh, local botanicals, a rotating selection of local microbrews, and small-production wines. The beer list draws exclusively from California and Pacific Northwest craft breweries. The menu reflects a farm-to-fork approach, with specific items such as a grassfed burger and beer-battered Fort Bragg cod pointing to regionally sourced ingredients. The charcuterie plates feature selections of local cheese, and the brunch menu incorporates Strauss yogurt. Alcohol-free cocktails and non-alcoholic beer and wine options are also available.
