Raw, seasonal honey from West Central Florida beekeepers
Eden's Nectar is a Wesley Chapel apiary and honey brand built around a core principle: honey is always sold in the region where it is extracted from the hive. Working in conjunction with the West Central Florida Beekeepers Co-op, it markets raw, local honey direct to consumers across the Greater Tampa Bay area. The lineup spans four seasonal varieties: Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter, each reflecting the distinct nectar flows of Central Florida's flora. Because beekeepers move their hives to pollinate crops across the region, each harvest carries a flavor profile that cannot be exactly reproduced from one year to the next. Eden's Nectar honey is bottled the way the beekeeper removes it from the hive, and each batch is tasted by an experienced honey taster before it reaches the bottling facility. Learn more on their About Page.
Eden's Nectar produces raw, unfiltered honey and bottles it without pasteurization, preserving the live enzymes that cooking would otherwise destroy. The beekeepers in the Co-op move hives seasonally to pollinate crops including strawberries, blueberries, citrus, and watermelons, and harvest honey from those hives after each pollination season. This seasonal movement produces honey drawn from a wide assortment of Central Florida nectar sources, including gallberry, saw palmetto, goldenrod, citrus blossom, Spanish needles, and cabbage palm, among others. Each batch is evaluated by a taster with extensive experience before it moves to bottling.
