A family farmstead raising LaMancha goats and offering farm products, bread-making classes, and a vineyard program.
Field of Faithfulness is the Perdomo family farmstead in Brooksville, Florida, founded about fifteen years ago on a single acre before expanding to its current property. The farmstead includes a garden, a blackberry patch, fruit trees, a vineyard, and a herd of LaMancha goats, along with sheep, chickens, and livestock guardian dogs. Farm products include raw goat milk and Queso Blanco in salted and sun-dried tomato and garlic varieties, all sold under Florida Feed Master Registration #Z003609. The farm also hosts in-person and online classes covering bread baking, flour milling, canning, and cheese making, as well as a recurring Vineyard Keeping program and a monthly Homeschool Bake class for children. Field of Faithfulness raises a herd of LaMancha dairy goats whose milk is used to produce raw goat milk and farm-made cheeses. Goat milk products are sold for pet consumption only, per Florida law, under Feed Master Registration #Z003609. The bread-making program, led by Dawn Perdomo under the Real Bread in Real Life name, focuses on working with freshly milled flour and traditional fermentation methods including sourdough. Classes are offered both on the farm and online.
