Small-scale CSA farm growing vegetables, eggs, and cut flowers in Mansfield Center, CT.
Cobblestone Farm is a small-scale vegetable farm that became a full-fledged operation in 2016, though its founder began growing in Mansfield for friends and family in 2000 while studying Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at UConn. The farm's primary sales channel is an 18-week CSA running from late June or early July through October, offered in full and half shares, with a fall-only share option and a tomato add-on share. Members pack their own bags at the farm from the week's harvest, with choices within categories and pick-your-own options for herbs, cut flowers, peas, beans, and cherry tomatoes. Produce is also available at the Storrs Farmers' Market and occasionally through the Willimantic Food Co-op. The farm grows more than 40 different crops, including many heirloom varieties and some bred on the farm itself. Learn more on their About Page.
