Small family farm offering goat milk skincare, farm-fresh eggs, raw goat milk, and on-farm experiences.
Blue Heron Farm is a small family farm in Southern Indiana owned and operated by Curtis and Jill Ingram. The farm raises a herd of Nigerian Dwarf Dairy Goats and produces a line of small-batch goat milk skincare, including bar soap, lotion, foaming hand soap, whipped sugar scrubs, face masks, and lip butter. It also sells farm-fresh eggs from free-ranging, pasture-raised hens, in shades of blue, pink, brown, and cream. Raw goat milk for dogs and cats, plus farm dog treats, rounds out the product offerings. Blue Heron Farm is a proud member of Indiana Grown, the Indiana State Department of Agriculture's initiative promoting products grown or made by Hoosiers. The farm also hosts on-farm experiences including goat yoga, baby goat encounters, farm camps, horseback riding lessons, and private group events.
Goat milk skincare products are made in small batches on the farm using fresh milk from Blue Heron Farm's own Nigerian Dwarf Dairy Goats, a breed selected for its high butterfat content. The skincare line is formulated with simple, high-quality ingredients and is paraben-free. Specific carrier oils and butters vary by product: the lotion combines sweet almond oil, avocado oil, and shea butter; the bar soap uses olive oil, coconut oil, sunflower oil, and shea butter; the whipped sugar scrub uses pure cane sugar, olive oil, and coconut oil. Lip butter contains no petroleum. Eggs come from pasture-raised, free-ranging hens that forage naturally. Raw goat milk is produced on-farm and labeled with the date milked.
