Overview
Certified organic family farm growing figs, microgreens, duck and chicken eggs, raw honey, and seasonal produce.
AZ-Ranch is the Zadeh family's certified organic farm and nursery, established in the Santa Monica Mountains in 2000. The farm grows a variety of organic figs (including Kadota, Brown Turkey, and Black Mission varieties), raw honey, organic microgreens, duck eggs, chicken eggs, and a wide range of organic seasonal fruits, vegetables, and herbs. AZ-Ranch sells through local farmers markets, grocery stores, and its own farm stand. After losing the majority of the property to wildfires in 2018, the family rebuilt the operation, adding new irrigation systems and greenhouses and expanding its produce selection. AZ-Ranch holds certified organic status and uses sustainable farming practices across its operation. The farm's free-range ducks are fed a diet that is 75% organic greens sourced directly from the farm, including microgreens and produce, with the remaining 25% an organic, no-corn, no-soy feed. Microgreens grown on the farm include daikon radish, Rambo radish, sweet pea, cilantro, sunflower, and mustard varieties.
