Florida farm co-op raising grass-fed Parthenais, Wagyu beef, and Berkshire pork since 2010.
Arrowhead Beef is a family- and farmer-owned co-operative of farms founded in 2010 by George Fisher, with roots in Limousin seedstock production going back to 1976. Co-owner Tony DeBlauw joined in 2013 to oversee sales, marketing, and distribution, while George manages all ranch operations. The co-op raises Parthenais and Wagyu cattle alongside Berkshire pork, and processes every animal at its own USDA-inspected facility. Cuts include steaks, roasts, culinary items, offal, bone broth, and bulk beef and pork shares in quarter, half, and whole-animal options. Arrowhead Beef describes itself as one of only two farms in Florida that raises, butchers, and distributes its own meats from start to finish. Learn more on their About Page.
Arrowhead Beef follows the American Grassfed Association's feeding standards for its grass-fed cattle, meaning the animals are 100% grass-fed and grass-finished on perennial pastures, with hay, haylage, baleage, silage, and other roughage also permitted. Grain and grain byproducts are excluded, and animals must have continuous access to pasture during the growing season. Co-op growers back these standards with signed affidavits. All grass-fed beef is dry-aged a minimum of 14 days before sale. Wagyu cattle are raised on open pasture before transitioning to a corn finishing program with a 400-day minimum. All livestock are raised hormone-free and antibiotic-free. Beef processing and aging are performed in small batches at the farm's own USDA-inspected facility.
