ApricotKing Orchards is a family-owned farm that has operated on a 120-acre ranch in Hollister since 1926. The Gonzales family grows exclusively the Blenheim variety of apricot, a rare and perishable fruit that thrives in the southern end of the Santa Clara Valley. The farm sells its harvest as dried apricots in multiple cuts and grades, including slabs, slip-pits, fancy, and jumbo styles, as well as apricot jams and syrups, dried California fruits, California-grown walnuts, almonds, and pistachios, chocolate-covered fruits and nuts, and gift collections. Customers can visit the on-farm store or find ApricotKing Orchards at local farmers markets.
ApricotKing Orchards grows its Blenheim apricots without the use of pesticides, insecticides, or petrochemicals. Apricots are cut and dried within two days of harvest and dried in the California sun with no added sugar. All fruit is low in sulphur dioxide, and the farm also offers a dedicated unsulphured fruit line for customers who prefer no sulphur dioxide at all.
