Farm-to-table restaurant in downtown Jasper, serving seasonal cuisine, creative cocktails, and sustainable wines.
61 Main is a farm-to-table restaurant on historic Main Street in downtown Jasper, Georgia, owned and operated by husband-and-wife team Tadd and Jenna Schreiber. Executive Chef Jenna Schreiber trained at Johnson & Wales Culinary School in Charleston, South Carolina, and went on to train under prominent chefs before working as a private chef with international travel. She opened 61 Main with a commitment to locally sourced ingredients, seasonal menus, creative cocktails, and sustainable wines. The restaurant also offers catering services. Jenna and her team work directly with local farmers and artisans, building their menu around what is in season and most abundant rather than from a fixed shopping list. 61 Main sources produce, herbs, eggs, and other ingredients from local farms in Jasper and its neighboring communities, with the stated goal of reducing environmental impact by limiting long-distance food transport. Rather than building menus from a set shopping list, Chef Jenna and her team plan around what local farmers and artisans bring in, prioritizing seasonal and abundant product. The restaurant has named regional farm partners including Dig-it Farm, Whitestone Farm, Faith Farm, McClain Family Farm, Noontootla Farm, and Talking Rock Produce, and periodically carries beef and pork from 74 Ranch, raised by the Puett family.
