Yarbrough Homestead

Yarbrough Homestead is a multi-generational family farm that has worked the same land since the early 1970s, when the family converted overgrown fields into open pastures and woods for cattle. In 2009, Travis Yarbrough discovered a farming approach centered on nutritional density and land improvement, and the following year expanded into broilers, a laying flock, and a beef herd. Since then, the farm has added pigs and turkeys to its lineup. Yarbrough Homestead sells its meats and eggs directly off the farm, at local farmers markets, at order drop-off points, and through once-a-month home delivery for the Montgomery and Pike Road area.
