Lavender farm offering culinary and personal-care lavender products, handmade fiber arts, and bed-and-breakfast lodging.
Yaqui Hideout is a lavender farm and bed-and-breakfast located on a four-acre high-desert compound in Pearce, Arizona. Owners Bob and Patrick acquired the horse property in Pearce after operating a bed and breakfast in Pine, Arizona, and have since built a lavender farm, lodging operation, and fiber arts studio on the grounds. The farm grows four lavender varieties: Grosso, Giant Hidcote, Provence, and Bridget Chole. A small retail area in the weaving studio carries a selection of lavender personal-care and culinary products. Bob is a fiber artist with 16 years of experience in basketry and is a member of the Basket Artisans of Arizona and the Bisbee Fiber Arts Guild. His handmade baskets, rag rugs, and tea towels are available for purchase, with selections rotating as new projects are completed. Learn more on their About Page.
Yaqui Hideout grows its own lavender in four named varieties on the property and sells products made from that harvest through its on-site retail area. The fiber arts and textile pieces sold at the farm are made by hand by the resident artist.
