Top Knot Farms is a pasture-raised poultry farm founded by two brothers native to Tucson, AZ. The farm has been raising and supplying fresh poultry to Arizona since the fall of 2013. It offers a broad range of birds: whole and cut chicken, duck (including confit and pâté), and specialty birds such as quail, turkey, and geese. Top Knot Farms sells its products at the Rillito Park Heirloom Farmers Market on Sundays, with preorders available for pickup. The farm also provides processing and packing services for backyard poultry. It supplies local restaurants as well as individual customers.
Top Knot Farms raises its birds outdoors with access to fresh air, clean water, sun, bugs, grasses, and dirt. All birds are raised on outdoor pasture and fed non-GMO feed produced in Arizona, supplemented by natural foraging. Birds are processed to order using humane practices and are cleaned and broken down on site in an Arizona Department of Agriculture (AZDA)-regulated facility.
