WiMo Farms is a small family farm situated along the Little Thompson River outside Berthoud, Colorado. Its primary offering is fresh raw Jersey milk, available through a herd share program that Colorado law requires for raw milk sales. The farm also raises grass-fed, pasture-raised lamb, Kunekune pork, and Jersey beef, sold by the cut or by the half and whole. Milk pickup is available at the farm; farm visits are by prearranged appointment. The operation is run by a small family alongside full-time jobs, keeping the farm intentionally modest in scale.
WiMo Farms raises its Jersey cows primarily on grass and high-quality hay (both grass and alfalfa), supplementing with a small amount of no-soy, no-corn grain during milking. Calves stay with their mothers until they are ready to wean. Lamb is completely pasture and grass-raised and finished. Kunekune pigs are sow-raised and fed milk, vegetables, grass, and fermented grain. Jersey beef is dam-raised, then grass-fed and pasture-raised, and always grass-finished. Eggs, when available seasonally, come from free-ranging birds fed corn-free, veggie, fermented grain, and milk-based diets. The farm tests its dairy herd and keeps the herd small by design.
