Whitehurst Farm is a family-run, regenerative farm in Brenham, Texas, owned and operated by Michael and Leslie Marchand. Named in honor of Michael's grandfather, Emmett Whitehurst, it grew from a backyard start into a full-time farming operation. The farm raises chickens, turkeys, pigs, and cattle outdoors, and grows a diverse mix of seasonal vegetables, leafy greens, and root crops. Products are available for pickup at the farm or for home delivery in Brenham, along the 290 corridor, and into the Greater Houston area. Whitehurst Farm describes its approach as regenerative, aiming to regenerate the land rather than simply sustain it. Animals, including chickens, turkeys, pigs, and cattle, are raised outdoors and treated with respect throughout. The farm's produce is grown without chemicals. The farm works with a small group of trusted farms, chefs, and artisans who share its standards, which allows it to offer a broader range of seasonal items. Orders are harvested and packed to order on a weekly basis.
