Vernon Family Farm

Vernon Family Farm raises its chickens, pigs, and lambs on pasture using rotational grazing, moving animals through sections of pasture so that land has time to rest and regenerate between grazing periods. Pigs rotate through both pastures and wooded areas. All of the farm's own chicken, pork, and lamb are fed non-GMO grain; its beef cattle are grass-fed and described as grass-fed and grass-finished. Jeremiah Vernon oversees pasture management with an emphasis on soil health and long-term land stewardship, and the farm describes its approach as regenerative, incorporating practices aimed at improving soil fertility and ecosystem health. The farm follows a nose-to-tail philosophy, selling not only standard cuts but also organ meats, bones, sheepskins, and cowhides. Its own turkeys are raised without hormones or antibiotics. The farm also sells certified organic compost.
