Twisted Oaks Meats

Twisted Oaks Meats raises its beef and lamb on a rotational grazing system, moving cattle to fresh pasture daily across rolling hills planted with clover, grass, alfalfa, and mixed forbs, with no grain feeding. Pigs are raised largely in timbered areas where they root freely, and are fed non-GMO grain with no confinement on concrete. Poultry are moved daily in portable pens to fresh grass, with continuous access to non-GMO grain. Laying hens roam the pasture freely, foraging for bugs and weed seeds alongside the cattle rotation. No antibiotics or hormones are used on any animals. The farm describes its model as transitioning toward regenerative animal production, with the goal of improving soil health through managed grazing.
