The Rowdy Roost

The Rowdy Roost is a family farm and homestead on 20 acres in Guadalupe County raising pastured pork, poultry, and eggs, and operating a farmhouse bakery. The farm got its start during the 2020 lockdown as a backyard experiment with a small flock of chickens before relocating to the Texas countryside. Today it raises heritage bronze turkeys, broiler chickens, ducks, and hogs, selling everything from whole and half hogs to individual cuts. The Farmhouse Bakery rounds out the offering with sourdough bread, sourdough scones, coffee cake, and brownie bites. Customers can order cuts directly online or place seasonal deposits to reserve whole or half hogs, batches of broiler chickens, and Thanksgiving turkeys.
